You've got some cute dogs. I'd love to have some smaller ones like those. I ended up with ones the size of cows, but I love'em just the same. It's great that you adopt the abused ones, they certainly deserve a better life.

I did buy the one from a woman who owned a house I shot at years ago. I will only adopt rescue dogs now since I hear what they do to the dogs at the breeders. It is sick. I would love a big dog also but they do not mix well with tiny ones. I saw a lab at the emergency vet last night ( All 4 of my dogs are sick now) that ws attacked by 3 pitbulls in his garage and did not fight back. The owner said she has several small dogs and he loves them so mabey I will try a black lab some day. The lady said the owner of the pit bulls hardly fed the dogs jusst kept them chained up or running loose. She called the police and I am sure the dogs were removed and put to sleep . I wish it was the ownere that was removed and put to sleep. IT is his fault his dogs are angry and attacking if he is ignoring them and not feeding them etc.

I would love to adopt abused animals, but I just don't have the room and can't afford anymore right now. I only ended up with these because my brother neglected them and I just took them away from him. Six over 100 lbs. dogs can really go thru the food. The dog food bill is astounding. So there's just no way I could do it. So I commend anyone that does do that.

Well..........the whole thing is such a long story, it would take up the whole thread and bore everyone, but no, he lives 2 houses down from me, and we never speak unless it's absolutely necessary. But trust me, the animal neglect stories that have happened because of him are doozies. And I now all of my pets, a cat and six dogs, I have because of him. And he's never offered to help out financially with any of them.

Oh well. I suck with a camera, so I made a collage out of all my bad shots of Cooter Box (so named for the way I got her, I witnessed an asshole get out of a car with a small box, and DUMP THIS TINY KITTEN OUT IN AN ICE STORM!!! He shoved her with his foot and shooed her. When confronted, he said he had to get rid of her. I took her home.)

He's been with me for 15 years and is beginning to show his age. Cooter Box is still young. About 4 now I think.

Those are my only living pets in the house (plush toys are pets, they don't count here, I think), but I have a pet mold at the lab I can try to get a picture of if anyone cares...

Post all the pictures. What an asshole dumping an animal anywhere even worse n an icestorm. Thank God you were around to witness this and take her in. I do not understand how people can actually dump an animal somewhere . It is actually illegal so if you ever see it again and dont kill the person get their license plate and report them.
