For those who prefer a custom avatar from a picture

and Im guessing Mistress Taylor WOULD prefer this (put in some effort!)

How to make your picture into the right size for Avatar

1) For normal files go to
http://www.myimager.com/

2) Go to file & "Click" open...it will open a new window

3) "Click" browse if you want to upload your avatar from your computer or you if want to upload it from the Web just "copy & paste" the url onto the 2nd rectangle.

4) Click "Upload" & it will open a new window with the picture that you U/Loaded displayed

5) Click "Edit" and "Resize" It willagain open a new window.

6) Key in 65 for both Width & Height

7) Click "Submit"....It will again open a new window with your resize picture

8) Point your sensor arrow to the pic and Right "click"

9) Click on the feature "Save Picture As" and save the pic to any location you want. The pic is now ready to be use as your personal Avatar.

that is good information Advante...especially for the computer challenged like myself that find it difficult to copy and paste, let alone do something that creative.

I don't know if you want to adjust your instruction but I expanded the max size to 150 by 150. Just fyi.

oops I adjusted the usergroup you used to be in but have moved up and out of.
I have now changed your usergroup's permissions so there is a 170 by 170 avatar limit with a ceiling of about 400k.

Try again and see if it works for you now.
