I don't know how much the rank affects the position on the list. It's primarily affected by the number of people who click through the link in my sig, then find Mistress Taylor's link on the topsite list and click it to come back here. - in other words, inbound and outbound clicks to and from the forum (only one click per person every 24 hours is counted I think).
